SPAIN EXPO MILANO

Expo Milano 2015 were invited all countries of the world who have chosen to participate in the construction of its own independent space to interpret in terms of country-specific
the theme of this year Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life.
Countries that do not have built a staff Pavilion will be present within the nine Thematic
Cluster.

Spain will be present with its Pavilion officially presented on 12 February in Madrid with
the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Manuel
García-Margallo; Minister of Development, Ana Pastor; the Minister of Agriculture, Food
and Environment, Isabel García Tejerina; Commissioner of the Pavilion of Spain and
President of the Spanish Cultural Action, Mrs. Teresa Lizaranzu; and D. Fermín Vázquez, architect and b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos representative study.

The structure will be very light made with recycled and natural materials. Spain has
already achieved its specific site of presentation, information and dissemination of
initiatives on food production Spanish.

The Pavilion of Spain is coordinated by the public Acción Cultural Española (AC / E).

The Pavilion will be divided on two floors: the first will be developed a poetic
reflection on the Journey of Food, in the second there will be the exhibition of the
Language of Taste.

Within the 2-storey visitatote will stop at a tapas bar, a restaurant, a gourmet shop and
an auditorium that will host workshops, concerts, conferences and
shows on cooking.
